Vera Bloss

Sherrill-Vera C. Bloss, 87, formerly of Noyes Manor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at the Extended Care Facility at Oneida Healthcare.

Vera was born on October 1, 1935, in Malone, the daughter of the late Henry and Edna Trudell Johnson.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children: Patrick Paul Bloss, Roger James (Noreen) Bloss Jr., Donald James (Sherril) Bloss, and Michael James Bloss; her beloved grandchildren: Christian Bloss, Jacob Bloss, Mason Bloss, Dylan Bloss, Dalton -Jay Bloss, Brooke Bloss, and Blair Bloss.  Vera is also survived by one cherished great grandson Ashton Bloss.  She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Vera was predeceased by her beloved son Jerry Jay Bloss in 1974, and her granddaughters Alexandra Bloss and Cassandra Bloss both in 1991.

In keeping with Vera’s wishes there will be a celebration of her life to be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 2-6 PM at the Constantia VFW, Route 49, Constantia, all are welcome to attend.  Vera and her family are being provided personal care by Jeffrey T.
