Timothy A Rogers

Vernon Center-Timothy A. Rogers, 55, passed away peacefully, with his soul mate, Elaine Rogers and his constant canine companion, Dixie, offering love and support at his side. Timmy passed following a courageous two-year battle against cancer on Friday, November 5, 2021, at St. Luke’s Medical Center.

He was born in Oneida, on July 7, 1966, the son of the late Herbert E. Rogers Sr., and Beverly (Paddock) Rogers.  Tim was raised in Camden and was a graduate of Camden Central High School.  He made his career as a professional tractor-trailer driver.  Tim had spent the last 20 years working for Seymour Excavating of Westmoreland.  He retired in 2019 due to his health.  He had previously worked for Burton Livestock Exchange, and had been a driver for various livestock brokers. For a time earlier in his life, Tim had spent time in Kansas working in the crop harvesting industry.  Tim also tried his hand at being a Rodeo Star. He was a very social person, always the life of the party.  He enjoyed the company of his friends, a good beverage and was without fail the first on the dance floor. He will be missed by all.

Tim is survived by his brother, Herbert E. Rogers Jr. and companion, Tammy German of Camden; his soul mate of fourteen plus years Elaine Rogers of Brookfield; and many close friends. 

Timmy was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Beverley Rogers.

Calling hours for Timmy will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5-7 PM, at the Coolican-McSweeney & Paul Funeral Home, 322 Washington Avenue in Oneida.  Service will follow the visitation.  There will be a celebration of Tim’s life to be planned for a future date. Tim’s family has placed Tim and their care, and trust in the Coolican-McSweeney & Paul Funeral Home.
