Richard Rolewicz Obituary

Richard A. Rolewicz, 57, of Verona, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at his home.

He was born July 18, 1961, in Herkimer, the son of the late William and Sarah Marriott Rolewicz and was a graduate of VVS High School. Richard was a US Army veteran, serving from 1978-1981. For many years, he worked as a general contractor throughout the area.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen of NC; his daughter, Amanda Smith of Oriskany; his son, Michael Rolewicz of AR; three grandchildren, Ellie Mae Smith, Samuel Smith and Blake Rolewicz; two step sons, Steven Faniglula of Oneida and Tony Clinch of NC; four step grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor, Alexis and Easton Faniglula; two sisters, Mary Rolewicz of Verona and Debbie Rolewicz of SC; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his step son, Allen Clinch; and his sister, Sara Lynn Sreca.

Richard’s family will celebrate his life privately.
