Chittenango - The world unexpectedly lost an amazing man on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Nicholas was an amazing son, brother, loving father, and a great friend to many. He will forever be in our hearts and prayers.
Nicholas was born in Syracuse NY on December 10, 1994. He spent most of his childhood years in Oneida and Baldwinsville. Nicholas enjoyed working as a barber with his two brothers and his cousin Stephen at Sully’s Barbershop in Central Square. Nick was loved by many and was known for his “easy-going’ nature. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had an incredible sense of humor, and a smile that would lighten up a room and brighten anyone’s day. Nick was known to be there for his loved ones and had an outstanding number of great friends who cared about him deeply. He will be missed by all, and was truly a kind and loving person.
Nicholas is survived by his beautiful son Xavier, who he loved wholeheartedly, his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Evan Sargent; his brothers, Christopher Frascatore and Ryan Rizzo; his sisters, Tessa Bianchini and Erica Smith; his grandparents, Gerald and Gloria Race; his nephews, Drake and Dexter Rizzo, who held a special place in his heart ; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was pre-deceased by his father, Phillip Rizzo, and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Theresa Rizzo.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 2-4 PM at the Coolican-McSweeney & Paul Funeral Home. Spring interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Nicholas and his family are being provided personal care by Jeffrey T. Paul, Director of the Coolican-McSweeney & Paul Funeral Home. To offer a condolence, please visit: coolican-mcsweeney.com
