Kevin F. Peebles Sr,.

Rome-Kevin F. Peebles Sr., 66, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2022, at the Oneida Center in Utica.

He was born on July 19, 1956, in Oneida, the son of the late Roland and Cora King Peebles.  Kevin grew up in Oneida and was a graduate of Oneida High School.  Kevin had served the City of Oneida as a Police Officer until he retired.  He had also been a New York State Park Police Officer.  He was deeply involved in the antique business following his retirement.  He owned Peebles’ Antiques and was well known, participating in many antique shows.  Kevin enjoyed fishing as a hobby.  He was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church of Oneida.  He was a devoted and loving dad grand dad.

He is survived by his children: Marsha Archer of Rome, Laura Hollenbeck of Rome; his son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Jr., and Melissa Peebles of Verona Beach; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents Roland and Cora, and a sister Kim Danboise.

Kevin’s funeral will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1 PM at New Life Assembly of God Church, 4704 State Street, Oneida, with the Pastor Dan King, officiating.  Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.  There will be a visitation from 11 AM until service time at 1 PM, at the church. Kevin and his family are being cared for by Jeffrey T.
