Obituary

Canastota-Karl Joseph Lee, 65, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Abraham House in Rome.

 He was born on July 24, 1956, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of the late Karl T. Lee and Jean C. Schlict Lee.  Karl was raised in Laurence Harbor, NJ, and attended its local high school.  He furthered his education and held a Master’s Degree in Electronics Technology. On September 20, 1986, in Laurence Harbor, NJ, Karl married Lillian Zilberman at the Community Covenant Church.   He had worked numerous years for United Radio of Syracuse, until his illness forced his retirement.  He had previously worked for NYE Ford of Oneida. Karl enjoyed life and had many hobbies to include: tinkering with electronic, cars, and bowling.  His greatest love was that of his wife Lillian, his daughters, Leann and Jennifer, and his devotion to his grandchildren.

Karl is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Lillian; his cherished children, Leann Currier, and her husband Michael Currier, and Jennifer Lee; his beloved grandchildren: Zachary, Dylan, Sophia, and Jace; his brother James Camp and his wife Janet Camp.  He also is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends

 He was predeceased by his parents Karl and Jean; and his sister Karen Bain.

 The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice New Hartford, the Staff at the Abraham House, and Dr. Harry Capone for their excellent care.
