Gerry, was a native Canadian, born in Montreal, Quebec, on July 23, 1934, the son of the late Albert and Emma Groulx Bonneau. As a young man, Gerry had a passion for horses.  He had been a horse trainer for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.  There came a time when he became a member of the Canadian Army.  Gerry was a trained paratrooper.  He saw combat in Korea where he sustained war related injuries.  Following his tour of duty, Gerry came to the United States.  He returned to his love of training horses.  Throughout his career, he was able to be in just about every state of the union, to include several years at Vernon Downs. Because of his traveling, Gerry remained a bachelor, until he met the love, and soul mate of his life Orah Lee Relyea.   They were married on October 11, 1974, and enjoyed a loving union until Orah Lee’s passing in early 2021.  Gerry had a strong work ethic, he excelled at his job at Case Supply.  He retired following many years of service as a Floor Manager. He had previously worked for Tray Packing.  Gerry had a deep love of his wife, children, and grandchildren.  His family was very important, and he passed on his values, beliefs, and wisdom with each family member.

He is survived by his cherished children: Roberta Panzica of Oneida, George (Cathy) of Greensboro, NC, Donald (Tracie) McLain of Oriskany Falls, Dawn Raymond of Fulton, Gerry J.
