Brooksville, FL/Munnsville- Gary Landers, 68, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

He was born on December 3, 1954 in Oneida, the son of the late Howard and Elva Stewart Landers.  Gary grew up in Munnsville and graduated from Stockbridge Valley Central High School.   Gary had lived many years in Rochester, and just recently relocated to Brooksville.  He was an excellent craftsman who made his living as a carpenter.  He was liked by all and will be fondly remembered.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law John and Gail Gruber of Brooksville, and three nephews.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Elba; and his two brothers Donald and Bernard.

In keeping with Gary’s wishes, private graveside services were held on May 25, 2023 in the Stockbridge Cemetery. Gary and his family’s care is being provided by Jeffrey T.
