Faron R. Kampf

Faron Ralph Kampf, 50, of Fairview Ave, Oneida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday September 28, 2019.  Faron was born on March 7, 1969 in Hamilton, New York, the son of Nicolas and Barbara (West) Kampf.  Faron was the youngest of five.  He enjoyed time with his family.  He has a love for country music and was a truck driver for many years and sadly he had to stop do to his health declining.  Faron leaves behind his children, Faron Jr., Nevaeh and Matthew; his mother, Barbara Kampf; four siblings, Nickolas, Andrew (Melissa), Brenda (Mark) Travers and Robin Kampf (they were two peas in a pod);  he has a special niece, Tasha Meacham and her fiancé, Mike Shirley along with their four children, Aiyana Meacham, Kaydin, Rydir and Axyl Shirley; a niece , Brooke Travers, nephew, Cody (Caylor) Travers along with their two children, Hayes and Kinley;  three nephews, Raymond, Patrick and Gerard Kampf; niece, Hilaina Kampf and her son, Chancey; Andrew (Heather) Kampf Jr., Kayla (James) Holmes; his nephews Tobias, Tyler and niece, Traci Kampf; he has several aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his father, Nickolas Kampf, paternal grandparents, Peter and Nellie Kampf, maternal grandmother, Bernice West, nephew, Justin Travers, niece, Breann Kampf and three cousins, Mark and Dave Kampf and Connie Ernenwine.  We would like to thank his former wife, Kirsten Kampf for helping with his care toward the end of his life.  We would also like to thank the American Dialysis Center of Oneida.  Thank you to hospice for helping us with his transitioning in to eternal life with the Lord.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Go Fund Me Page.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 11 a.m. at Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Stockbridge Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. before the services, 322 Washington Ave, Oneida.
