Elizabeth J. Kline

Elizabeth J. Kline, 85, of Oneida, NY, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica, NY.  She was born in Clinton, NY, on April 6, 1933, the youngest of 8 children to John and Sophia (Trybulski) Ondarcho.  Elizabeth graduated from Clinton Central School and retired from the Oneida City School District as a bus driver with over 20 years of service.  She married Leonard Kline on July 11, 1951 and they raised their family in Oneida, NY.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret LaLonde, daughter, Donna Klein and a son Lawrence (Mary) Kline, her grandchildren Jeffrey, Keith and Joshua Klein and Andrew Kline and his fiancée Carolyn Niedzielski, a great-granddaughter, Olivia Klein and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard, her siblings Mary Hillage, Rose Darrah, Francis Ondarcho, Catherine Ondarcho, Anna Illing, Charles Ondarcho, and her daughter Joanne Kline.

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday September 25th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave, Oneida. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 26th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Oneida with Rev. Richard J. Kapral officiating.  Burial will follow in the McConnellsville Cemetery.   

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the members of the Oneida Fire Department, crews from the Vineall Ambulance Service and the 5th Floor Staff at St. Luke’s Healthcare for the care given Elizabeth during her illness
