Dennis J Walsh

Oneida-Dennis J. Walsh, 59, passed away unexpectedly, at his home, on Monday, July 19, 2021.

He was born on October 2, 1961, in Yonkers, the son of the late John F. and Veronica Flemming Walsh. Dennis was raised in Yonkers and graduated from “Hard Knocks High.” Until his illness, he enjoyed a life-long career as a tractor-trailer drive.  Each load to be delivered was an adventure to see new places and meet new people.   Dennis had been a professional driver for many companies, the last be Swift Transportation in Marcy, New York.  He was an avid movie fan of any action movie.  Most of all, Dennis had a big heart and loved his family deeply.

Dennis is survived by his two sons Daniel (Stephanie) Romeo of Vestal, and Michael Walsh of Oneida; his beloved grandchildren: Isabelle, Aubree, Raeighna, and Jaxon; and his companion, Amy Neumann.

In keeping with Dennis’s wishes, funeral service will be private and there will be no calling hours.  Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of the Coolican-McSweeney& Paul Funeral Home.
