Obituary
Utica-Denise Marie Wallis, 53, passed away peacefully at her home on March 23, 2023.
She was born in Syracuse on September 27, 1969, the daughter of late Daniel and Kathleen Wallis. Denise attended VVS High School. Though, Denise did a lot throughout her life, her main goal was to make someone laugh. While facing her own struggles, she never failed to lend a helping hand in any way that she could. Denise was an active person who enjoyed singing, music, painting, and the beauty of being outdoors. She will be remembered as a fearless and independent woman, who was deeply caring and funny.
Denise is survived by her children Leah Thomas, Austin Thomas, and Kati Streeter; her brother Daniel Wallis; many nieces, nephews and close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Kathleen, and her brother Jerry Wallis.
