Brenda Jean Mack
Munnsville-Brenda Jean Mack, 75, passed away peacefully at her home, surround with the love and support family.
She was born in Oneida on July 12, 1948, the daughter of the late Milford and Ethel Dick Mack. Brenda was raised in Oneida and was a graduate of Oneida High School. She had spent her working career as a machine operator at Oneida Molded Plastics. When she retired, Brenda moved to Munnsville to reside with her daughter to help raise and care for her grandchildren. Her loving family called Brenda “Nene”. She made the family home complete with all the blended love and care inside of the home. Nene was always there for her daughter, Shannon and her two grandchildren Khalei and Kaiden. There never was a dull moment at the house: bon fires, teenagers from the neighborhood in and out of the house, Shannon’s and her children’s hunting adventures. Nene especially loved “girls night” around the bonfire. The love she brought to the family home will always be kept in the hearts of Shannon, Khalei and Kaiden.
Nene is survived by her daughter Shannon Augustine; her beloved grandchildren Khalei Holbert and Kaiden Holbert, all of Munnsville; her brother Mel Mack and his wife Carol of Oneida Castle. Nene is also survived by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
She was predeceased by both her parents Milford and Ethel, and a brother Miles Mack.
There will be a celebration of Brenda’s Life to be held on Saturday, October 21, at the Munnsville American Legion. In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, there will be no public services. Brenda and her family’s care has been entrusted to the care of Jeffrey T. Paul, Director, of the Coolican-McSweeney & Paul Funeral Home.
