Wayne D. Lust, 67, of Vienna, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Oneida Healthcare Center, with his family by his side.
He was born September 14, 1951, in Oneida, the son of the late Clyde and Thelma Wakelee Lust, and attended Oneida and Moravia schools. On September 19, 1970, in Oneida, he married Sandra “Sam” Seamans. For 30 years he was a welder with Conde, retiring from Westmoor LTD in 2004. He was a member of the Owl’s Nest.
Wayne was an avid car enthusiast, especially Chevy’s and street rods.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, “Sam”; his daughter, Brooke Lust of Vienna; his brother, Terry Lust of Knoxboro; his sister, Linda (Paul) Hargett of Locke; his in-laws, Robert (Ann) Seamans of Crestview, FL, James (Lois) Seamans of Sherrill, Mary Ellyn Glasenapp of Sylvan Beach, Mike (Linda) Seamans of Wampsville, Pat (Deb) Vinson of New Orleans, LA, Lisa (Donny) Willis of Crestview, FL and Chris (Laurie) Seamans of Vienna; and many nieces and nephews, especially Jerry “Lil Man”, TJ, Ben “Brother” and Stephanie. He was predeceased by his sister, Karen Lust in 2001.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4-6 pm at Coolican-McSweeney Funeral Home, 322 Washington Ave., Oneida. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
